SeRQL currently can not express recursion on arbitrary predicates. For example "give me all resources X and Y that are connected through a path (of arbitrary length) of foaf:knows relations".
Recursion will enable powerful graph querying where the domain modeler is no longer dependent on the limited expressiveness of RDF/RDFS to express transitive relations.
